Custom Leather Pennant Banner

Custom leather flags. One completely original design, made just for you.

Bring me the name, the story, the room, the ranch, the brand, or simply the feeling you're hoping to create, and I'll turn it into a one-of-a-kind leather pennant banner.

Every banner is designed by me and handmade to order from veg-tanned leather. Each 5.5" x 5" pennant is individually hand-tooled and stamped based on your custom requests, then antiqued to bring out the depth and detail of the tooling.

Your banner might include a name, initials, ranch brand, favorite animal, flowers, western motifs, traditional tooling patterns, a favorite hobby, or a combination of it all. You can bring me a very specific idea, or you can give me a theme and let me take creative liberty with the design. That's part of what makes each 23 Ranch Leather banner special.

The banner pictured is an example of a previous custom piece. It isn't a design you'll receive exactly as pictured. Your banner will be created specifically around your requests, making it completely your own.

How your custom banner comes to life

1. Place your order.

2. Tell me your vision.
After your order, I'll send you an email asking about who the banner is for, where it will hang, your theme, colors, names, brands, animals, motifs, or anything else you'd like me to incorporate. You can send inspiration photos, sketches, Pinterest images, or simply tell me what you love.

3. I create the design.
This is where you give me creative freedom. I'll take your ideas and create a cohesive design that feels like a 23 Ranch piece. You don't have to know exactly what you want each flag to look like. That's my job.

4. You approve it.
I'll send you the design for approval before I begin tooling the leather. One revision is included with your order.

5. I make your banner.
Once your design is approved, I'll hand-cut, tool, stamp, antique and finish each pennant before stringing your finished banner together.

Please allow at least 2.5 weeks for production after your design has been approved. Because these pieces are individually handmade, additional time may be needed for particularly detailed designs.

Are you interested in any additional details or embellishments?

We can discuss options such as wood beads, leather fringe, tassels, or other specialty accents during the design process. These are available for an additional fee.

A note about custom artwork

Custom means custom, but it also means handmade and artistically interpreted.

I can absolutely incorporate animals, breeds, brands, logos, flowers, western imagery and other specific elements into your design. When working from photographs or detailed references, I will use them as inspiration and create an artistic interpretation in my own leather tooling style. I cannot guarantee an exact replica of a specific animal, photograph or piece of artwork.

I also don't offer fully painted banners. Small amounts of color can be incorporated when appropriate, such as a colored initial or small accent, but the banners are primarily created through traditional leather tooling, stamping, dying, and antiquing.

For exceptionally elaborate requests that require substantially more design or tooling time, an additional custom design fee may apply. I'll always discuss any additional charges with you before moving forward.
